Block internet access to specific programs in Windows 7

Do you have a limited data connection and you are losing the bandwidth due to the internet usage of background applications. In windows 7, the windows firewall will block all external connections by default. the firewall ask us the permission when an application trying to access internet. we can also use advanced settings of Windows Firewall to block specific programs in Windows 7.
Go to Control Panel – System and Security – Windows Firewall – Allow a program or a feature through Windows Firewall – Change settings, then change the permission as per your requirement.
